I was seeing a chiropractor a year ago for lower back pain, he made good progress but at a similar time after reliving the lower back pain I started getting upper back pain and my shoulders tightening. I might try to pop my sternum to see if it helps relieve the pain. I have been on ibuprofen to help reduce the inflammation which has helped alot but I still need to be really careful to not over do it as it leaves me in alot of pain which takes a few days to go away. It used to be so bad I could only talk for a short time. Now since having covid the inflammation is alot worse. It would slowly go away after a few hours of being awake but would return the next morning.ĭoctors kept saying I had just strained myself but it never got any better. I cannot do alot without setting off inflammation in my chest and sternum.Ībout a year ago I used to wake with sore ribs each morning and it would hurt to reach up.
I have been diagnosed with Costochondritis since having covid.
